TEST

Our internal laboratory is equipped to perform life tests on the components of our production and in general the entire chair frame assembled, in compliance of the reference regulatory standards.

In particular we are able to perform the following tests:

1. Durability test of the supporting structure of the chair (Ref.: UNI EN 1335-3:2000);
2. Durability test of the armrests (Ref.: UNI EN 1335-3:2000);
3. Durability test through rolling of carrying castors;
4. Durability test of supporting back mechanism and of the seat metal plate;
5. Durability test of the chair base ANSI-BIFMA X5.1-1993/8.
6. Colour average and deviation measurement CIE 1976 L*a*b*

Our equipment is able to record on computer parameters measured throughout the test and make available the test results through appropriate graphs and reports.

1-Durability test of the supporting structure of the chair (Ref.: UNI EN 1335-3:2000)
This test is done by simulating 5 whole life cycle on the same structure (Ref.: UNI EN 1335-3:2000). Pressure is applied in different parts of the backrest and seat, in this way structure resistance is verified.

2-Durability test of the armrests (Ref.: UNI EN 1335-3:2000)
Pressure is applied on both armrests simultaneously. Grade simulates the process of sitting and raising.

3-Durability test through rolling of carrying castors
Test is done by sliding base and castors, on uneven surface, with a specific weight on seat. The number of cycle simulates castors sliding for 240 Km.

4-Durability test of supporting back mechanism and of the seat metal plateThe test simulate pressure on backrest support and mechanism.

5-Durability test of the chair base ANSI-BIFMA X5.1-1993/8Specific pressure is exerted for a minute and until bending is fixed, test can be done also with castors.

6- Colour average and deviation measurement CIE 1976 L*a*b*

The colorimeter can be used on different bases and substrates. Using the tool can be detected absolute color values (b.p.. to determinate chromatic position) or may be carried out comparative measurements between various samples.
